SSI Openwater Diver

This globally recognized program is the way to start your lifelong adventure as a certified diver. It introduces you to the fascinating underwater world.

The course consists of three parts, namely a theory part, a confined water part and an open water part.
You will learn the theory yourself through self-study. This can be done via e-learning.
If you have any questions, you can always contact your instructor for further explanation.
Personalized training is combined with practical lessons in the water so that you learn the skills and master the knowledge that is necessary to really feel 'like a fish' in the water.

The confined water dives consist of 6 pool lessons. Here you will learn the basic diving skills. Each dive is an extension of the previous one. During these six dives you will learn the skills that you need to be able to dive safely in open water.

In the open water part, you will make 4 open water dives where you will repeat the basic skills that you have learned and explore the underwater world.

The course will take place on

• Thursday evening from 5pm
• Friday evening from 5pm
• Saturday from 9am
• Sunday from 9am

Number of dives:

• Swimming pool sessions: 6
• Open water: 4

Requirements:

• Minimum age 12
• Ability to swim 200m
• Ability to float for 10 minutes
• Be in good health
