DAN (Divers Alert Network Europe) is an international non-profit medical and research organization dedicated to the health and safety of divers. Founded in 1983, DAN Europe main goal is to give authoritative information and advice for the benefit of its members and the diving public.

Training
The difference between an emergency and a disaster is the ability to act quickly and prevent further damage. The DAN Europe Training programs teach you what you should do in a diving accident and with focus to directly take all necessary steps to prevent injuries or make sure they do not get worse, by providing a fast and effective first aid. DAN First Aid Programs follow the latest guidelines of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC European Resuscitation Counsil) and are recognized internationally by various government agencies, universities, diving physicians, the American College of Baromedicine (ECB), the European Underwater and Baromedical Society (EUBS ) and many dive operators. DAN is one of the world's leading leaders in the field of medical and scientific diving safety research.
