EFR Primary and Secondary Care

First aid and CPR are always useful for anyone doing adventure sports - just in case. You also need these skills for the Padi Rescue Diver course.

Emergency First Response is a PADI department that specializes in these lifesaving skills - and anyone can learn them, not just divers.

The best part of the Emergency First Response training, is learning serious medical emergency response skills in an upbeat and positive atmosphere. It gives you confidence that you are ready to help in case of an emergency .

 

What you will learn:

  • CPR and rescue breathing for layman on BLS-level (Basic Life Support)
  • How to use an  AED (Automatc External Defibrillator)
  • Preventing and dealing with shock
  • Stabilize the spine
  • Use of protective equipment so there is less chance of infection from diseases
  • Where you have to think about for first aid and building your own first aid kit

Through both self-study and by practicing with an instructor, you build your confidence and skills. The Primary and Secondary Care Manual and DVD, you look ahead to scenarios and provide step by step demonstrations of the skills.
